Soft, chewy cookies studded with colorful Reese’s Pieces candies for a delightful crunch and burst of flavor. Perfect for any occasion and dangerously easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Reese’s Pieces candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Gently stir in Reese’s Pieces candies, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers look slightly underdone.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

[‘Chilling the dough prevents the cookies from spreading too much and gives them a chewy texture.’, ‘Pull the cookies out when the centers look slightly underdone—they’ll finish setting as they cool.’, ‘Fresh baking soda and high-quality vanilla extract make a noticeable difference.’, ‘Uniform dough balls ensure even baking.’]
