A bright and festive alcohol-free mocktail blending fresh strawberries, citrus juices, mint, and sparkling water for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing drink perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) simple syrup (homemade or store-bought, adjust to taste)
  • A small handful of fresh mint leaves, roughly torn
  • 1 to 1.5 cups (240360 ml) sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Optional: fresh raspberries or blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse and hull about 1 cup of fresh strawberries. Slice them into halves or quarters depending on size. Pick a small handful of fresh mint leaves and gently tear them to release their oils.
  2. In a mixing pitcher, add the strawberries and mint leaves. Using a muddler or wooden spoon, press down firmly but do not pulverize to release juices and oils.
  3. Pour in 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lime juice, and 1/4 cup (60 ml) simple syrup. Stir gently to combine and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Fill the pitcher about halfway with ice cubes. Slowly add 1 to 1.5 cups (240-360 ml) chilled sparkling water. Stir gently to mix without losing fizz.
  5. Pour the mocktail into glasses over fresh ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a few berries if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh citrus juice for best flavor. Muddle mint gently to avoid bitterness. Prepare fruit and mint base ahead and add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Adjust sweetness carefully to avoid over-sweetening. Frozen berries can be used if fresh are unavailable, just thaw and drain excess liquid.
