A luxurious yet simple-to-make cocktail featuring fresh blueberries, vodka, and a citrus twist, perfect for cozy winter evenings or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (or thawed frozen blueberries)
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (adjustable to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: Lemon twist or sugared blueberries on a cocktail pick

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries and use a muddler to mash them until juicy and broken down.
  3. Add 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of triple sec, 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes until it’s about three-quarters full and secure the lid tightly.
  5. Shake vigorously for about 20-30 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold to the touch.
  6. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixture into the chilled martini glass to remove pulp and seeds.
  7. Garnish with a lemon twist or sugared blueberries threaded onto a cocktail pick. Serve immediately and enjoy!
