These decadent chocolate dipped strawberry Oreo balls are a quick and easy 5-ingredient treat combining creamy strawberry undertones with crunchy Oreo bits and a luscious chocolate coating. Perfect for potlucks, parties, or a sweet indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberry powder
  • 8 oz (225 g) white chocolate chips
  • Fresh strawberries (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos using a food processor or place in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin until crumbly but with some texture.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and freeze-dried strawberry powder. Mix until a uniform dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch diameter balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring in between, or melt over a double boiler on low heat.
  6. Using toothpicks or a fork, dip each chilled ball into the melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off, then place back on the parchment-lined tray.
  7. Optionally, press a small slice of fresh strawberry on top before the chocolate sets.
  8. Refrigerate again for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens completely.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for easy mixing. Chill the balls before and after dipping to help them hold shape. Melt chocolate gently to avoid burning. Lightly oil hands to prevent sticking when rolling balls. Store in airtight container in fridge up to 5 days or freeze up to 2 months.
