Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease your loaf pan with melted butter and line it with parchment paper, leaving enough overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes). Scrape down the sides with a spatula as needed.
  3. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully mixed before adding the next. Avoid overmixing to prevent air bubbles.
  5. Sprinkle in the flour and gently fold it into the batter until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with your spatula.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle. Use a toothpick to check for doneness—it should come out mostly clean.
