A quick and easy recipe for festive heart-shaped Oreo cookies dipped in smooth semi-sweet chocolate, perfect for any occasion or celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Oreo Cookies (classic original or double stuf for extra creaminess)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
  • 12 tbsp vegetable or coconut oil
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional, for decoration)
  • Small heart-shaped cookie cutter (about 2 inches wide)

Instructions

  1. Prep your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and have your heart-shaped cookie cutter and dipping tools ready.
  2. Using the heart-shaped cookie cutter, gently press into the Oreo cookies to cut out heart shapes, keeping the cream filling intact if possible.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of vegetable or coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Add more oil if needed to thin the chocolate.
  4. Dip each Oreo heart into the melted chocolate using tongs or a fork, coating fully. Let excess chocolate drip off and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter. Melt white chocolate chips separately and drizzle over the coated Oreos. Let set at room temperature or in the fridge until firm.

Notes

Chill Oreos before cutting if too fragile. Add oil to chocolate to thin for easier dipping. Dip Oreos one at a time for best coating. Use a cooling rack to let excess chocolate drip evenly. Store at room temperature up to 3 days or refrigerate up to 1 week.
