These Cheesy Deep Dish Crescent Roll Pizzas are quick, easy, and unbelievably delicious with a buttery crescent roll crust, gooey cheese, and customizable toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20 pepperoni slices
  • Diced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or oil.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Press each triangle into a muffin cup to create a crust.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of marinara or pizza sauce into each dough-lined cup and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese in each cup, followed by a pinch of grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add pepperoni slices, diced vegetables, or other toppings as desired.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning on top of each pizza cup and brush the exposed edges of the dough with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent roll crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Allow the pizzas to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before removing them. Serve warm.

Notes

[‘Don’t overfill the cups to avoid soggy dough.’, ‘Customize the crust edges to prevent them from falling into the sauce.’, ‘Freshly shredded cheese melts better than pre-shredded cheese.’, ‘Keep an eye on the pizzas during the last few minutes of baking to avoid over-browning.’, ‘You can prep the dough and toppings ahead of time and store them in the fridge until ready to bake.’]
