Hey, I’m Emma
Recipe creator, kitchen experimenter, and firm believer that good food makes everything better.

How It All Started
Ten years ago, I was a stressed-out college student surviving on takeout and instant noodles. One weekend, homesick and craving comfort, I called my mom for her lasagna recipe. That phone call changed everything.
I discovered that cooking wasn’t just about following instructions—it was about creating moments, memories, and connections. That first successful lasagna led to weekend baking experiments, dinner parties with friends, and eventually, this blog.
Today, I’m still that girl who calls her mom for recipe advice, but now I get to share my kitchen adventures with you. Every recipe here has been tested (sometimes repeatedly!) in my own kitchen, tweaked until it’s just right, and served to honest critics—my family and friends.
My Kitchen Philosophy
The principles that guide every recipe I create and share
Keep It Real
No fancy equipment or impossible-to-find ingredients. Just honest, approachable recipes that work.
Tested & True
Every recipe is made multiple times in my kitchen before it reaches you. No guesswork, just guaranteed delicious.
Make It Fun
Cooking should be joyful, not stressful. Let’s laugh at kitchen disasters and celebrate the wins together.
A Few Things About Me
Because cooking is personal, and you should know who’s behind the recipes
I start every morning with a ridiculously strong coffee and some quiet time in the kitchen planning the day’s cooking adventures.
My comfort food weakness is pasta—any shape, any sauce. If it has carbs and cheese, I’m there.
I blast 90s pop music while cooking. There’s scientific proof it makes food taste better (okay, maybe not, but it’s more fun).
Recipe testing = eating the same dish 5+ times in a week. My neighbors have become my honorary taste testers (and love me for it).
When I’m not cooking, you’ll find me at farmers markets, reading cookbooks like novels, or planning my next food adventure.
